I’ve been indoors more than usual because of the weather, reading more, and streaming movies and TV. I’m sure I’m not alone.
Though there are multiple streaming services to choose from, it can be difficult to find new and different programs to watch.
One option is streaming one of your favorite series or rewatching favorite movies. I have a few favorites that always cheer me up. Sometimes I watch a few of Christian’s favorites or movies we watched as a family. Movie nights were popular at our house. Spoiler Alert – I raised three boys, This month I have a few of those and a few new movies and series. Enjoy! Streaming information subject to change without notice.

The Rockford Files – I love James Garner and his character, Jim Rockford the conman turned private detective who was pardoned for a crime he didn’t commit. Rockford lives in a trailer at the beach and runs his business out of there. A great ensemble cast with interesting story lines and a mix of humor, action, and drama. Paradise – I binge-watched the first season of this drama about a secret service agent investigating the death of a president killed right under the secret service’s noses. Sterling K. Brown is Special agent Xavier Collins who previously took a bullet saving the life of President Cal Bradford (James Marsden). In an interesting twist, the world is destroyed, and 25,000 survivors live in an underground bunker created to mimic life on the surface. Interesting jumps between the life before and after the destruction feed several ongoing mysteries. Can’t wait for Season 2. Available on Hulu.
Back in Action – I watched this on Netflix. Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx are former spies who got out to start a family and live a normal life. Of course something pulls them back in along with their children. Glenn Close plays her estranged mother who also happens to be a spy and Kyle Chandler is their former CIA handler. Lots of action and humor.
