November is a beautiful month. The leaves have turned colors and we’re busy raking them into piles waiting to be jumped in by our kids and our pets. It triggers memories of the days we weren’t too old to play like that. November is a feast for the senses. The air is cool and crisp, but we can still feel the warmth of the sun on our faces. The mixture of earth, leaves, and rain creates a pleasant scent known as petrichor - the clean smell after rain.
This is the month we vote and select the people who will work for us to ensure our democracy remains strong and the rights of every citizen are protected.
It’s also Movember, the month we focus on Men’s health. Get up, get active, and get your check-ups guys because we love you and want you around.
We gather together to give thanks for the harvest and feast on delicious foods. The sounds of family and friends playing touch football or soccer or laughing at the table are the music we want to hear. During November we remember our veterans and the sacrifices they have made to keep our world safe. We celebrate the cultures of Indigenous peoples and their contributions to the fabric of our history and the world we share. We hope you like our interpretation of November 2022 in Pictures.
