Next month is November. Lilly Kauffman reminds us to celebrate November instead of relegating it to the month between Halloween and Christmas. Her article has inspired me to explore events in November from a fresh perspective. We will be celebrating Diwali, Guy Fawkes Day, Remembrance Day/Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and St. Andrew’s Day.
November is also Movember – a perfect time to focus on men’s health, and we will be celebrating World Kindness Day and Universal Children’s Day.

I haven’t decided on our quiz for the month or chosen which book I will be reviewing. I have so many great ideas and interesting books in my queue right now, it’s hard to decide. We’ll have reading recommendations for adults and kids and Linda Cahill will have more easy and delicious recipes courtesy of Pampered Chef.
Our November soup in the Twelve Months of Soup will be Butternut Squash paired with a Turkey sandwich – a delicious way to tackle those Thanksgiving leftovers.
