The September 2023 Education Quiz by Fran Joyce

Depending on where you live, “back to school”  varies from the middle of August to mid-September for most countries. This month we are testing your knowledge of all things school related.

According to data from UNESCO in 2019 there were 787 million kids of primary/elementary school age in the world.

Do you know what percentage of kids (excluding those affected by school closings during the pandemic) did not go to school? Do you know the two leading reasons these children do not attend school? Do you know the name of the first public school in the British colonies that would eventually become the United States of America? Can you name a policy which has been shown to boost school attendance all around the world? Take our quiz and find out how much you know about education around the world. Good Luck!

The answers to this quiz can be found in the last article of this issue, “Next Month in This Awful Awesome Life – October 2023.” You can scroll there or follow our link,   https://www.thisawfulawesomelife.com/home/2023/9/2/next-month-in-this-awful-awesome-life-by-fran-joyce
