We first featured this type of quiz in our December 2017 issue. My son, Christian gave me the idea. He was listening to a podcast and the hosts were playing 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon. After exhausting our vast knowledge of Kevin Bacon films, we spent part of the evening connecting other actors to one another through movies and their co-stars.
If you’ve never played before, the game is based on the theory that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart. In this case, the actors have to be connected through movies about the holidays or movies set during the holidays. Our holiday season starts in November and includes Diwali, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Years. Films for Veterans Day don’t have to be set on Veterans Day – they are typically films about the military. You don’t have to use movies from each holiday listed, but kudos for every holiday you use.
