Next Month in This Awful Awesome Life - August 2021

We hope you enjoyed our July 2021 issue. Next month in This Awful Awesome Life, we’ll be talking about getting the most out of the summer before the kids head back to school – hopefully, they’ll be back to their physical classrooms full time and fully vaccinated.

August is National Picnic Month. What will you be putting in your picnic basket?  We’ll have a few suggestions. August 9 is Book Lovers’ Day, so we’ll have some great August reading recommendations for kids and adults and a book review. I haven’t decided on the book yet, but I have a few ideas.

I met a wonderful group of nurses from our local hospital recently and they told me about some of their greatest wishes for their patients and our community. I think you’ll be surprised.

We’ll have a fun quiz and another interesting article from Orlando Bartro. Lilly Kauffman will be back with an amusing story about back to school. Linda Cahill will have more quick and delicious recipes from Pampered Chef to help you make the most out of those delicious summer fruits and vegetables. We’ll also have a few surprises for you, so be sure to check us out next month!

Stay safe, stay well; you are important, and you are loved.

All my best,

Fran
