As of June 1, 2021, 41.4% of all Americans are now fully vaccinated. According to CDC data, 62.9% of Americans 18 and over have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine. The percentages you see in the news may vary depending on the age ranges reported. The vaccine was originally only available to adults 18 and up. Recently, the CDC determined the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were also safe for children ages 12 – 18. The numbers are quickly changing, but everyone needs to do their part to end this pandemic.
