We hope you enjoyed our April 2021 issue. Next month we’ll be celebrating World Laughter Day, the warm weather of spring, Mother’s Day, and Memorial Day plus a few surprises.

Our soup for May will be Black Bean Soup with a colorful Mexican Kale Salad. Linda Cahill will have recipes from Pampered Chef to welcome the warm weather and get you psyched to eat and play outside again.

Orlando Bartro will be back with something clever to inform and amuse us and I’m hoping to share a new artist/crafter with you who makes beautiful pieces for the home – perfect for that special Mother’s Day gift.

Hopefully, the COVID-19 vaccine will soon be available to everyone and we will all get our shots. Until then, wear your masks, maintain social distancing, and avoid crowds. We are getting closer to our new normal and now is not the time to get sloppy. I know how tiring it is to hear and how much people despise the phrase “New Normal,” but with variations of the coronavirus occurring all over the world, we must be prepared to accept that some things will change. I don’t know what safeguards will remain, but we will never completely return to our pre-pandemic lives again.
