There are three major religious holidays during the month of April. Passover begins April 8 and ends April 16. April 12 is Easter and Ramadan begins on April 23 and ends May 23. Whether you will be celebrating this April or not, we at This Awful Awesome Life wish you joy, health and happiness.
April should be bringing us spring flowers and warmer weather. If you haven’t started spring cleaning, what are you waiting for?
We will have a few cleaning tips for you in our April issue and Linda Cahill will have some quick and easy recipes from Pampered Chef.
Orlando Bartro will be back with something brilliant and we hope to have some fabulous articles from our guest contributors. As always we will have book reviews and book recommendations and I’ll be sharing photos of my March Lemon Meringue Pie and planning for my April French Silk Pie. Who knows, I might make both pies for the upcoming issue.

As much as we love publishing this magazine and sharing it with the world for free, we need to make some tough decisions about how to monetize what we do, so we can start paying for submissions. Writing is a labor of love, but it’s also a profession for many of us. We’ll keep you posted.
