November 2020 is an election year. With so many pressing issues facing our nation, Voting is not an option, it is a necessity if our country is to survive this pandemic and re-establish our place in the global community. Our November issue will focus on what comes next.
The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments to overturn the Affordable Healthcare Act and strip millions of Americans like me of healthcare. Coincidentally, my yearly physical falls on the same day the court is set to hear these arguments from the Trump Administration.
For many of us, Thanksgiving will be different this year. How will you celebrate? Since I don’t come from a large family, the scale of our celebration won’t be affected. Recently, I have adopted a more plant-based diet. It will alter my Thanksgiving menu, but I will still make my sons’ favorite dishes.
November 2020 in The Twelve Months of Pie will of course be pumpkin pie, but I’ll be preparing a crustless version of this Thanksgiving special. Linda Cahill will have Pampered Chef recipes for an unforgettable feast whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving or Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
There will be a quiz, November 2020 in Pictures, and book recommendations. I’m not sure which book I will be reviewing, so please join us next month as we share our awful awesome life!
Til Next Month, Stay Safe, and wear a mask! Remember, You are important and You are loved,
