The January 2019 Winter Sports Quiz

There’s something magical about playing in the snow whether you are building a snowman, having an epic neighborhood snowball fight, playing in the NHL Winter Classic or the NFL playoffs. In honor of those frosty fingers and windburned faces, the January 2019 Quiz is about winter sports and winter outdoor activities. How much do you know about the sports we watch and play while winter rages?

 Skiing

__________ This event, formerly known as ski ballet, was regarded as a freestyle skiing discipline until 2000. It was included in the Winter Olympics as a demonstration Sport in 1988 and 1992.

__________ also called downhill skiing, involves sliding down snow covered slopes on skis with fixed-heel bindings.

 Snowboarding

 Team sports

Recreational Winter Activities
